Social Work Intern
Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and I would be honored to support you in deepening your self-understanding and helping you meet your goals. I approach the work of therapy with curiosity and openness where we will work together to help you create positive change.
I work with kids, teens and adults experiencing issues related to stress, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, mood challenges, relationships, sexuality and identity, loneliness, grief, and school and work problems. My own identity often informs my work. Through my experience as an international student and former competitive athlete, I understand the unique hurdles that can arise in these journeys.
My approach to therapy is relatable and pragmatic. Connecting in a meaningful way with my clients and working collaboratively is fundamental to my therapeutic approach. I draw on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mind-body practices in an integrative way.
I am in my final year of Master level training at Columbia University School of Social Work and am excited to offer low to no cost accessible services at The Therapy Collective. No matter where you are in your journey, I warmly welcome you.
