MHC Clinical Intern

I am a student at SUNY New Paltz in my last year of clinical training to obtain my master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have several years of experience in the helping professional. I have worked for community case management agencies that serve a diverse population of people that face unique challenges.

I believe that human connection is extremely powerful, which has led me to become a clinician. I have been amazed at the resilience and light that people are capable of, especially when faced with unprecedent situations.

I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic space for clients, so they are enabled to explore their intrinsic traits as well as the external and contextual factors that influence their everyday lives. I believe it is important to develop a therapeutic relationship between client and clinician, where both are working towards mutual goals to promote their overall well-being.

Tiffany currently works as a supervisor for a care management agency and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services.
