Bio
I believe the therapeutic relationship holds space for exploring vulnerability and empowerment with safety and structure. My therapy style is engaged, empathetic, and strengthening. In our sessions, there is room for laughter, tears, uncertainty, and discovery in a non-judgmental space that honors your present, your background, and your hopes for the road ahead.
All are welcome here, and I am committed to culturally humble, antiracist, queer- and femme-affirming care. I work with adults of many backgrounds, including queer people, men exploring emotional understanding, artists, and people navigating addiction and harm reduction. I have a special interest in helping people explore their truth after coercive influence in relationships and high-control groups.
My therapeutic style is influenced by relational, somatic, and mindfulness-based approaches, and when appropriate, utilizes solutions-oriented interventions such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). I enjoy working with individuals and couples through an emotion-focused lens (EFCT), exploring how attachment shapes connection and communication. My background in the arts may also support your process through creativity, play, and applied arts approaches—in ways that feel useful, respectful, and welcome to you.
I look forward to creating a space where you feel seen and heard. My hope is that our sessions can foster growth in the many parts of your life with insight and compassionate curiosity. From that place of validation, we can begin to understand how you arrived at this moment and consider what moving forward might look like with greater clarity and care.
