We’re here to help.

  • We are in-network with Aetna and Cigna. We can work with you to access your out-of-network benefits if you have insurance through another provider. Our practice manager can assist you with understanding your insurance benefits. If you do not have insurance or if you choose not to use it, we are happy to discuss our fees, which range from $125 to $250. We also offer a sliding scale fee option when needed. Please contact us so we can best help you understand your payment options.

In keeping with our mission to strive for treatment accessibility for all, we have a program where clients can work with our clinicians-in-training at low to no cost. Rates vary for this service but generally range from $35-$50 per session. Ask our reception team about this program.

  • Choosing the right therapist is very personal. We will work together with you to find the best fit. The first step is for you to share your needs and preferences with our reception team. They will then work with our Clinical Director to match you with a clinician.

  • The first session is a time for you and your therapist to get to know one another. Your therapist may ask questions about your past and current relationships. They may explore the present, your work, health, social life, family relationships, hobbies, etc. They will listen to what’s hard, what hurts, or what gets in the way of you living your best life. Usually this session is an important time to try and understand the reason you seek therapy. The first meeting is also a good time to go over any questions you have about your therapist or the process.

  • Each individual or couple session is usually 45 - 60 minutes long, with most averaging around 53. Group sessions average 75-90 minutes.

  • The Therapy Collective is a virtual practice. We set the same standards for virtual services as in-office services - ensuring client privacy and offering warmth and attunement at every session.

  • When we offer psychotherapy, our clients must reside in the state in which their therapist is licensed. We have therapists licensed in the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, Maine and Vermont.
