Bio
I believe therapy should be a warm, creative, and non-judgmental space where you can show up fully - whatever stories, identities, or backgrounds you bring. My approach is grounded in curiosity, deep compassion, with room for humor along the way. As a Korean American eldest daughter of immigrants and a working artist, my lived experience informs how I hold space for the nuanced, layered contexts and relational dynamics that shape how you move through the world.
I approach our work through a trauma-informed and strengths-based lens, with a clinical foundation in DBT and grief work. Together, we’ll build concrete skills for navigating intense emotions and relationships, learning how to stay with a wave of feeling instead of being pulled under by it.
I welcome working with teens and adults navigating stress, anxiety, grief & loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity. I am especially drawn to deep feelers who might have been told they’re “too sensitive” or “too much.” While I welcome clients from all walks of life, I am particularly passionate about supporting BIPOC, immigrants and Third Culture Kids navigating cultural transitions or generational legacies, and creatives working through the emotional weight of expressing what feels inarticulable..
However ready or unsure you may be feeling, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on this journey. Please reach out to see if we might be a good fit.
