Bio
I believe great therapy centers around connection. Connection to others and, perhaps most importantly, connection to ourselves. In my work, I strive to foster a space of safety, compassion, and curiosity; a space where people can share openly and comfortably in growth and healing.
My clinical experience has centered around supporting adults navigating challenges in a variety of areas such as neurodivergence, substance use, identity formation, relationships, sexuality, disordered eating, individuation from family of origin, life’s purpose, and self-esteem. I have worked in residential and outpatient behavioral health centers where I’ve provided individual and group therapy. My therapeutic approach is integrative, collaborative and trauma-informed. I draw from a variety of modalities, including CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, motivational interviewing, mindfulness based, strengths based, and person centered therapy approaches. I help people to develop practical coping strategies, self-regulation skills, and stronger connection to their most authentic selves.
I tailor treatment to every person’s unique needs, identities, and lived experiences. At the heart of my work is a deep respect for self-exploration, inclusivity, and new perspectives. I hold a strong commitment to LGBTQ+ and BIPOC affirming therapy that is informed by cultural sensitivity, competence and humility.
Whether this is your first experience in therapy or a continuation of your ongoing journey, one of my primary intentions is to meet you where you are on your own path. I thoroughly believe every person is their own greatest teacher. As we explore your world together, I strive to walk alongside you with compassion, patience, and belief in your unbound capacity to grow.
