Many Programs, One Mission

Participants in our Therapy Access Programs receive therapy from advanced clinical interns, who are completing their final year of clinical training towards their licensure and Master of Social Work degree.

This isn't crisis intervention; it's quality psychotherapy that addresses the unique challenges each person faces. TAP includes two specialized programs designed to meet people where they are, plus group therapy options for those who benefit from community-based support:

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Both ANCHOR and PIVOT operate annually from October through April, aligned with our clinical intern training cycle.

  • There's no formal application process. TAP enrollment is integrated into our regular intake process and operates on a rolling basis—if you meet eligibility criteria and we have capacity, you can start right away.

  • Capacity depends on the number of advanced clinical interns in our practice each year and their current caseloads. We accept participants throughout the program period as space becomes available.

  • Each participant is eligible for up to 40 sessions over a period of 8 months, depending on session frequency (2x weekly, weekly, or bi-weekly). Transition planning begins in the final 4-6 weeks.

  • Yes. Participants who have found therapy valuable and whose circumstances have stabilized can transition to working with one of our licensed clinicians. Standard rates with licensed TTC clinicians range from $125-$200 per session. Former TAP participants who secure employment with insurance benefits may find that their new coverage makes continued therapy affordable. TTC also offers some flexibility for former TAP participants making this transition, recognizing that stabilizing after major life changes takes time.

  • Contact us anyway. While TAP operates on this annual cycle, TTC provides year-round services with our licensed clinicians. We can discuss other options that might work for your situation.
