Psychotherapy is a journey that integrates the whole person – the mind, emotions, body, relationships, and spirit. It is an invitation to dialogue with your inner-self and the world around you; It is an opportunity to hear more of your inner wisdom. Psychotherapy helps you to stop for a moment, breathe, and address the issues that create trouble in your present life. As a therapist, I support you in identifying your motivations, values, world view and goals. I show compassion, empathy and I work with clients through a strengths-based and non-judgmental approach. I value individual, social and cultural diversity, and work with families, children and youth.

My therapeutic style is psychodynamic, strongly informed by mind-body and spiritual practice, and I have additional specialized training in trauma informed expressive arts work.

Virginia Ardaix is a Bilingual Spanish-English therapist who holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University, a Certificate in Trauma-Informed Creative Arts Therapy from The University of Albany, and degrees in Social Education and Expressive Arts from Uruguay.
